Abbey takes pride in her passion to share the world, her travels and knowledge with others. She taught High School World Geography for 7 years, before becoming a travel professional. She holds a Master’s degree towards Administrative Leadership in Education which has brought immense value to running Sky High Travel.
Her passport holds stamps for Kenya, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, Holland, France…the list goes on and she is always ready to add more. Abbey loves to travel with her family (consisting of her husband and 2 young sons) but equally enjoys her solo adventures.
Her knowledge paired with personal travels are a huge contribution to the services Abbey provides. She has a true knack for getting her clients to think outside of the box and get creative with travel!
Christina Royer has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who, Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives and Centennial Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional. Recognized for her expertise as a professional advisor in the travel industry, Mrs. Royer is the chief executive officer of Sky High Travel, an elite travel agency that she co-founded with her business partner Abbey Meyer in 2021.
Headquartered in Saint Louis, Mrs. Royer, her partner, and her team of experienced travel advisors helps clients from all over the country in their search for the perfect getaway. Working with individuals, families, and couples during all phases of life, Sky High Travel provides free quotes and handles every detail of the itinerary from beginning to end. Mrs. Royer and her team also notably specialize in destination weddings, honeymoons, group, solo, and European travel, as well as cruises aboard some of the latest and greatest ships. Mrs. Royer specializes in Coporate Incentive and Meeting Trips along with Medical Conferences while balancing owner responsibilities for the agency.
Mrs. Royer, a former nurse in the health care industry, also owns and operates a second business that specializes in continuing education for physicians in international locations. It was during her years developing the business that she discovered a lack of quality travel experts capable of helping her clients at an affordable rate in the Saint Louis market. Forming Sky High Travel to meet those needs, Mrs. Royer frequently marries both businesses by arranging international medical conferences and overseeing the travel portion, the continued education of the physicians, and the project management aspects of each event.
As a testament to her civic dedication, Mrs. Royer is a member of the Kirkwood-Des Peres Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also active with the Kirkwood Parent Teacher Organization and, through Sky High Travel, frequently gives back to local communities by volunteering her time and resources to nonprofit organizations throughout the Saint Louis area.
Mrs. Royer completed coursework at Rend Lake College, Indiana University, and Logan University. Well-qualified in her industry, she received credentials as a certified travel associate through the Travel Institute and is presently working toward earning a certified travel industry executive designation. To remain abreast in her field, Mrs. Royer is an elected member of The A.L.L.I.E.S. Society and a prominent member of the Cruise Lines International Association and Travel Leaders.
